TEF Kuwait Celebrates Cultural Milestone with Musical Gala
Tamilnadu Engineers Forum (TEF) in Kuwait marked a significant milestone in its cultural history by successfully organizing the spectacular musical event “Harmonic Horizons – A Festive Musical Gala,” featuring the renowned playback singer and Padma Bhushan recipient KS Chitra. Held at the DPS Auditorium, the gala attracted substantial participation from the Tamil community and music lovers, turning the evening into a vibrant celebration of music, culture, and unity.
A Commitment to Cultural Enrichment
This event was part of TEF Kuwait’s 26th anniversary celebrations, highlighting the forum’s ongoing dedication not only to professional development but also to enriching cultural experiences and fostering community connections among expatriate Tamils in Kuwait.
Traditional Beginnings
The program began with a culturally significant ritual, including the lighting of the Kuthuvilakku, followed by the Tamil Thai Vazhthu, which established a respectful atmosphere for the evening. This was further enhanced by a rendition of the Thirukkural and a moment dedicated to safety, reflecting TEF’s emphasis on values, accountability, and community awareness.
